Solder flux by Bajaj Insulation Co. is available in a diverse range, used for a wide variety of soldering works. These are used for multiple purposes to ensure the soldering is accomplished smoothly. Oxidation is a challenge that hampers the soldering process, and the flux is used to prevent the formation of metal oxides.
Range of Our Solder Flux
The range of Solder Flux by Bajaj Insulation Co. includes:
- No Clean Solder Flux 0% and 4%: Used in the dip and wave soldering process and circuit boards.
- RMA Solder Flux 8.25 %: Used in hand soldering of PCB or by spray or dip soldering. Also applicable for fine pitch soldering.
- Photovoltaic Assembly Flux: It has no halogen or rosin to prevent residue formation in the Photovoltaic cell assembly.
- Magic Solder Flux Paste: This contains rosin-based flux paste for various electronic and electrical soldering applications.
- Tinning Flux: used in the tin-copper wire manufacturing process. Its residue can be easily removed with hot water.
- Aluminum Solder Flux: Ideal for aluminum-aluminum and aluminum-copper soldering due to its ability to remove oxides.
Stainless Steel Solder Flux: Made for the soldering of stainless steel and alloys of nickel, brass, chrome, Inconel, copper, etc.
Cleaning Process
These solder fluxes are completely water-soluble. Hence, these can be washed in an aqueous solution with low TDS hot water in deionized or distilled form. The water must be heated at least beyond 60°C (140°F).
Safety Precautions
- The solder flux should not be frozen.
- Proper equipment must be used, and the soldering must be done in a ventilated environment.
- The residue must be disposed of in the approved container only.
- Unshelfed solder flux is recommended to be used within a year.
